Schedule: 2-Day/5-Round Swiss

3 Rounds Saturday (9:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 4:30PM)
2 Rounds Sunday (9:00 AM, 12:30 PM)

Time Control: 60 minutes + 30 second increment

Location: Lockhart Elementary School Cafeteria

Entry Fee: $30 adults, $10 students

Open FIDE rated tournament. For locals, this is a USVI Olympiad team qualifying tournament. Non-locals welcome to participate though. See flyer and registration page for more details.

Ongoing Chess Training Seminars

Mighty Funtanilla, St. Croix's top-rated player is offering free chess training sessions to women and students every Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 at Freewill Baptist School (upper school campus). These sessions are designed to help women and students prepare for the upcoming December tournament and to boost their eligibility to qualify for the USVI Olympic chess teams. Dates for the sessions are October 11, 18, 25 and November 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
